Academy’s 1/700 scale Titanic that appeals to a beginner’s skills and price point, without forgoing the detail modeler’s. A full 15” in length, this newly tooled Centenary Anniversary kit is molded in multiple colours. Deck details like capstans, bollards and ventilators are authentically reproduced. The four dramatic smokestacks feature the molded-in orange colour of the original. Even fine lines on the hull, where the full-sized Titanic’s steel panels met, are carefully reproduced. A display stand with nameplate is included. The kit, designed for the novice who wants a realistic Titanic replica.

RMS Titanic was a British passenger liner that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean on 15 April 1912 after colliding with an iceberg during her maiden voyage from Southampton, UK to New York City, US. The sinking of Titanic caused the deaths of 1,502 people in one of the deadliest peacetime maritime disasters in history. She was the largest ship afloat at the time of her maiden voyage. She was the second of three Olympic class ocean liners operated by the White Star Line, and she was built by the Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast. On her maiden voyage, she carried 2,224 passengers and crew.

This model kit will require glue and assembley. Parts are casted in colour, so painting is optional, but recommended to achieve a higher level of detail.
