They were designed by one of the most hateful regimes in history, but Volkswagen sales peaked at the height of the 60s and 70s. They were icons of the counter-culture movement. The original Type 1s were efficient and inexpensive marvels of engineering. The type became so popular that over 21 million Beetles have been produced throughout their 65-year production run. It has taken nearly fifty years for the automotive industry to create cars to match the Beetle. This kit features optional left or right hand drive and a detailed interior/engine.
