With its powerful 440 cu. in. engine, the 1968 Dodge Dart was one of the hottest cars of the year. Even hotter was a limited-run GTS Hardtop version equipped with a 426 cu. in. HEMI engine. This version was intended for use in supervised acceleration trials, not general highway use. Kit features a choice of a 426 cu. in. HEMI engine or a 440 cu. in. stock engine, a choice of stock or racing interiors and suspensions, soft black tires, chrome-plated parts and decals with stock or drag race markings.
